Really? I feel like all this does is create panic among everybody. I mean about 36,000 people die from the regular flu every year. And so far about 1,000 have died from the swine flu. So what makes this so much worse than the flu? Now people are going to freak out the minute they get flu symptoms. The article I read also said that so far there have been about 20,000 hospitalizations due to swine flu. Well there are more than 200,000 hospitalizations each year for regular swine flu. I think everybody needs to chill out.

Not even two weeks into college my boyfriend IMed me with those dreaded words "we need to talk...about us." I thought everything had been going smoothly. I didn't realize there was a problem we needed to work out. So I told him "if your breaking up with me, then at least have the courtesy to do it over the phone." So he called and simply just said "I can't do this."

I'm a bit confused because it had not even been two weeks since I had last seen him. And already he could not handle the distance? I guess I could understand if this happened a couple of months from now, but not yet. I almost feel like there is another reason why he broke it off and he is not telling me. Has anybody ever been in a long-distance relationship that immediately didn't work out? What was that like for you?
